This is the highway that cuts across Florida from the Atlantic side to the Gulf coast, and it's nicknamed Gator Alley. It runs along the top of the Everglades and funny enough, the wife and I have driven on this road, at night, and I swear to God there were actual alligators lying on the road still warm from the sun. This is one of the few times that I can remember when I did not want to stop and take a picture.

Gator Alley
This is not the road for a flat tire....This is the highway that cuts across Florida from the Atlantic side to the Gulf coast, and it's nicknamed Gator Alley. It runs along the top of the Everglades and funny enough, the wife and I have driven on this road, at night, and I swear to God there were actual alligators lying on the road still warm from the sun.
