Europe Day 10: Plitsvice Lakes National Park

As we left Budapest on a rainy Tuesday morning headed for Plitsvice Lakes National Park in Croatia, we realized that we had come to the halfway point of our trip.



This was another destination chosen by my wife, and she did so partially because if you google Top 10 places to see before you die, Plitsvice Lakes National Park would be on that list.
So we hit the road and after 469 kms and 5 hrs of driving through some pretty breath taking mountains, we arrived at a little piece of heaven on earth.

And then, we had some more walking to do.

I'll let you guess for yourself whether or not you think my wife thought it was worth the drive.

And then it was onto Split, our next stop for the night.
