UK Adventure: Day 5 Chester

After our exciting morning in Snowdonia, it was time for our next stop on our drive north, Chester a city close to the Welsh border and our original destination, 81 miles away.
Again, not another spot on our original itinerary, but one we had heard about from my cousin, Roger, who told me about it when we spent the day sight seeing in London.

The cool thing about Chester is that it was founded as a Roman fort in the year 79 AD, (Thank you, Wikipedia) and the modern city today is built within and around those original four walls, which are still standing.
Of course, we had to walk the entire 3.2 kms.

I'm mesmerized by the symmetry of the row houses all over the UK.
