Two Toronto streetcars became bumper cars early yesterday morning, colliding head-on at Bay and Dundas Streets in a minor crash that Toronto Transit Commission officials say may have been caused by a driver failing to check a track switch. (YOU THINK?!)
Just before 6 a.m., an eastbound Dundas streetcar went through the intersection at Bay Street, but instead of continuing east, began to turn onto the northbound tracks on Bay. It collided with an oncoming westbound Dundas streetcar and derailed.
