What is Mayor David Miller thinking? Banning guns from the city of Toronto and closing city owned shooting ranges will not solve the problem of gun violence. You know that, I know that and more importantly, the criminals know that. What Mayor Miller should be doing is declaring war on the criminals who use a gun in a crime. Enough is enough. Its not the law abiding gun owner who registers their weapon who should be punished, but the criminal with the illegal hand gun committing the crimes. Mayor Miller should be campaigning for mandatory jail time for gun crimes and stiffer sentences for those who commit those crimes. Time to get tough. No more slaps on the wrist and and probation with time served, put them in jail where they belong. How hard a concept is this to get?
