* an average of 3.7 cm has fallen on 47 days since the first accumulation on Nov. 21. Normal is 36. Plus, there's been a trace of snow on 27 more days.

* Snow is forecast every day this week.
* We need another 30 cm to break the all-time record of 207.4 cm, which fell in Toronto's winter of 1938-39. This is quite likely if the pattern of "storm after storm" continues.
* And there's no guarantee we won't see more in April. Normal snowfall then is 5.7 cm.
