Breaking In The New Bike

As most of you know, I like to bike and I do it a lot.
My wife decided she wanted to join in the fun, so I got the road bike bike she has had since she was 16 years old out of the basement and all tuned up and she started riding with me. It wasn't long before we realized that she had out grown her old bike and it was time to get her something new.
She shopped around and decided on an entry level woman's Trek road bike.
To her credit, she has stayed true to her word and now goes out with me for a ride whenever we have the time.
Here are some shots from our ride this weekend.

It didn't take long for her to christen her bike with its first crash.

No damage to her or the bike, but she did get the obligatory chain grease tattoo on her leg.

Welcome to the club!

There is nothing like a good bike crash in the morning. Good for her for riding.
