I'm not sure if yours does, but mine sure do.
My oldest dog, Hobbes, will go crazy any time he sees an animal on TV. He can be lying on the couch or in front of the TV and as soon as an animal comes on the screen he will sit up and pay attention. That is quickly followed by him barking at the screen and going nuts until I change the channel. Watching shows with horses in it is next to impossible. It really can be quite annoying. He even has a favorite show, Zoboomafoo, which is a children's show with a puppet Lemur as a host. It doesn't matter where he is in the house, if he hears the show's theme music he will come running.I had thought my other dog Calvin, thankfully, wasn't much of a TV watcher. I had thought wrong.
The other day a commercial came on with someone working in the kitchen carving a turkey. Calvin rolled over and actually started to watch the commercial and his mouth started to water a little. At first I just brushed it off as a coincidence, but I started to watch him when images of food came on the TV, just to make sure I hadn't been seeing things. And wouldn't you know it, my other dog watches TV too, only he doesn't care about other animals, all he cares about is when there is images of food on the screen. My other dog, Calvin, is a foodie.
Or may be I just have way too much time on my hands....
