Eating Dirt: How not to ride a bike

I made it through the entire summer on my road bike without incident.
Get on the mountain bike and end up in the trees.



Maybe I should just stick to my road bike.

k.d.Lang at the Phoneix

I went to see k.d. Lang at the Phoenix last night with my wife.

Yeah, that's right, I said k.d. Lang. Not normally an artist on the top of my list, but a favorite of my wife's and that's pretty much how I ended up at my old stomping grounds, the Phoenix, to see k.d. Lang and her band, The Sis Boom Bang, perform to a packed house of about 500 loyal fans in this rather unique and intimate venue. If I was to wager a guess, I would say the wife and I were two of the youngest people in the audience, but we didn't let that deter us. k.d. put on A SHOW, and even I was impressed with the power of her voice and her well rehearsed stage antics.

I really wasn't really a k.d fan before the show, but I certainly am now.
