SKIPAPALOOZA 3

My wife and I went to Skipapalooza 3 on Saturday night.
I work with a guy who is one talented dude and although I know him by another name, all his friends call him Skip.

Skip plays the Bass guitar and apparently has quite a few very musically inclined friends.

Skip is also in a band called the MTN Dukes.
And man, can they rock.

Here is lead singer, Luke and his dad, who sat in for one number.

"Luke, I AM your father!"

It was also Skip's birthday.

Which was the reason for Skipapalooza 3
By all accounts, a rocking good time.

Green Day at the ACC

We went to see Green Day at the ACC last Thursday night.

The show was originally scheduled for January, to promote the release of their 3 new albums but was delayed until April so that lead singer Billy Joe Armstrong could get his shit together in rehab. Thankfully, it was well worth the wait.

I'm not really sure what the deal was with the 3 album release, but it would of made one good album. Thankfully they waded through the crap and only played a selection of the better stuff off the new albums, while mixing in a lot of their old crowd favorites.

This was the third time that I have seen Green Day and the other two shows before this, were better.
That being said, Green Day puts on one of the best live shows that I have ever seen and they remain in my top 5 concerts of all time.

Great show.

Ready For My Close Up

Straight from the groomers, all ready for spring.

Now all we have to do is get the weather to cooperate.
